Traditional castor oil is prepared by sun-drying mature castor seeds without chemicals, removing the shells, and stone-grinding the kernels into a paste. The paste is slowly boiled with water, allowing the oil to rise naturally, which is then hand-collected, cloth-filtered, and stored. When prepared under hygienic, food-grade conditions, this traditional castor oil is used not only for hair and massage but also for cooking in small quantities, as practiced traditionally.
